The North Tarrant Express consists of a series of major improvements to the I-820 and SH 121/183 (Airport Freeway) highway corridor in northeast Tarrant County. With construction beginning in late 2010, this project will help relieve regional traffic, improve safety and pave the way for future growth in one of the country's most congested and fastest-growing regions.
